A range of technologies in our fire alarm system work together to identify and alert people of smoke, fire, carbon monoxide, and other emergencies through visual and acoustic devices. Such warnings can automatically be triggered by smoke and heat detectors or manual fire alarm systems such as manual pull stations and call points.  Alarm clocks, mountable sounders or horns can be motorized. Alarm bells. They may also be alarm-sounding speaker strobes accompanied by a voice evacuation message, warning people inside the building not to use elevators. Functional overview of the warning control panel The system central processing unit is the fire alarm control panel (FACP), which collects and measures signals from fire sensor systems, provides the user with audio and visual input, initiates the automatic alarm sequences and makes available how the user communicates with the system. The FACP is accredited by an appropriate notified authority to conform with the specifications of EN54-2 and EN54-4. As proof of qualification, the certificate and the examination report must be released for review.
